This past weekend I went camping with my church and had so much fun! It's nice to get away from the hectic life that tends to consume me at times. I need to take a step back and just listen to the quiet. This was a good time to relax and take in all the beauty of nature. It amazes me!!! I never get tired of all the wonderful things that God has created. All the detail he puts into things is so mind boggling.
We had a time of worship and learning on our last day. It was nothing fancy, just a quiet time with God and his word. Our speaker talked about how we just need to quiet ourselves and listen for God's whisper. I think I get so wrapped up in stuff that sometimes I forget to listen for his still voice. He whispers often I'm sure and I hope to listen more.....
We are so fortunate when we get to be in nature and take time to be still. It is amazing isn't it! So glad you had a wonderful time.
